New Year's resolutions smartphone manufacturers should make

Vivo Mobile started its journey in Bangladesh with three smartphones Vivo Y65, V7 and V7+. After these three, Vivo released the Vivo V9. Vivo V7 grabbed some kind of attention. But it is Vivo V9 that pushed them up and now Vivo is being compared with other top Chinese brands namely Oppo, Huawei and Xioami. They started their journey a bit late in Bangladesh. But they were already among the top brands of the globe before coming to Bangladesh.

Design & Display

Vivo V9 is very identical to Apple’s iPhone X. You can confuse the two phones its that much identical in the front. Some are not a big fan of this “notch design” from Apple. But for some, it is definitely interesting since we see that more and more phones are coming with this design. Vivo V9 has a huge 6.3″ Full HD+ display perfect for gaming, browsing, video playback and reading. The body is made of aluminum.

Camera & Video

Its dual 16+5 MP primary camera is great with features like AI bokeh and AI HDR. But the 24 MP front camera is even more exciting and can take professional mobile photos.

Network, Battery & Overall Performance

There is 4G LTE so nothing to worry about network speed support. The battery is kind of a downside since 3260 mAh is very average for a 6.3-inch display. But other than the battery, overall performance is fantastic with 4 GB RAM and Octa-core processor optimized by Android’s latest version Oreo v8.1.

Others

Dedicated MicroSD slot, AI Face Access or face unlock, fingerprint, OTG, 4K video, etc. are its other impressive features.

Disadvantages

The battery is a surprise. One would surely expect a much better battery in Vivo V9. There is also no display protection. It is a high-performance camera phone, but there is a lack of innovative and diverse features.
